Tong Len School Sponsorships

2021

In 2021, Bringing Life Home sponsored two children, Anisha and Rudra, who attend Tong Len School in the foothills of the Himalayas in Dharamsala, Himachal Pradesh. Through this ongoing sponsorship, Bringing Life Home provides monetary donations to support their education, covering costs for books, uniforms, and food for both children. The sponsorship aligns with the mission of Tong-Len, an organization dedicated to providing free education to children from slum communities and underprivileged families. Tong-Len's mission emphasizes the importance of education as a means of sustainable change, offering academic learning and vocational training to help children develop valuable life skills and prepare for future careers. Their goal is to help students reach their full potential and grow into responsible, compassionate individuals.

2022

In 2022 Bringing Life Home continued the sponsorship of Anish and Rudra now in the next grade. It has been a joy to our team to witness the growth both kids have made in just 1 short year. Our Co-Founder Tenzin Sonam also had the privilege of visiting Tong Len in December of 2022. He was able to visit Anish and Rudra along with the other children at the school, all who were very eager to show him around their school and play with him. Through Tenzin, Bringing LIfe home was also able to sponsor lunch for all the kids that day and distributed sweets from a local vendor to all of the children.

2023

Bringing Life Home has been able to continue our sponsorship of Anish and Rudra for the 3rd year thanks to the donations of our donors. 

This year we were also able to donate 140 pairs of shoes for the children of the school. Seeing the joy and excitement of the children in the photos brought our team so much happiness and served as a reminder of why we do this important work.

2024

In 2024, Bringing Life home continued the sponsorship of Anish and Rudra. Both of them, and their families, have greatly benefited from this sponsorship.

2025

In 2025, Bringing Life Home continued the sponsorship of Anish and Rudra in 2025.
