Vasu Agrawal graduated from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota in May 2018 with a Bachelors of Science in Business. He earned his CPA and achieved his Masters of Business Taxation (MBT) in 2020. He currently lives in Minneapolis, MN where he works as a CPA at a private practice. Vasu is an avid traveller- both domestic and internationally. Through his travels, he continually realizes the need that exists in this world and is constantly thinking about how he can make a difference. Starting Bringing Life Home has been a great step in the right direction and he hopes to continue to grow the organization so that many more lives can be touched. 

Tenzin Sonam was born in India and immigrated to the United States with his parents at the age of two. He holds a CPA, an accounting degree, and a Master’s of Business Taxation from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. Tenzin spent over 4 years in public accounting at both PwC and Deloitte before transitioning to his current role as a Tax Manager at JustWorks, where he focuses on helping small and medium-sized businesses access tax credits and capital. In addition to his professional expertise, Tenzin has worked with several organizations, gaining experience in grassroots organizing, community building, event planning, lobbying, and fundraising.

Shivani Gupta is a dedicated public health professional with a Master of Public Health from Case Western Reserve University. Currently she lives in Chicago, IL where she is active in the non profit public health space. Shivani has co-authored publications in peer-reviewed journals and has experience in community health research. She is passionate about healthcare equity and about improving health care outcomes for all. Shivani is also an active volunteer with a local food pantry and tries to give back to her community whenever possible.

Narayan Agrawal was born and brought up in Uttar Pradesh, India. In 1985, after finishing his education, he moved to Minneapolis, MN where he earned his CPA certification. Since then he has owned a private accounting and taxation practice in Minnesota. Narayan is also the father of one of the co-founders, Vasu Agrawal. He is immensely proud of his son and continues to support Vasu and the organization, offering guidance and advice when needed. 

Norman Piatti was born and raised in Saudi Arabia and Europe. In March 2017 Norman successfully defended his Ph.D. thesis through Middlesex University, London. The research title of his dissertation is The Tibetan Diaspora and The Politics of Belonging in the Twin Cities (Minneapolis - St. Paul, Minnesota, USA), which explores the Tibetan community in their settlement, creation, and maintenance of the community. Norman received his BA from the University of San Francisco and his MA from Concordia University, St. Paul. He is Professor of Urban Studies through a joint program between Concordia University, St. Paul, MN and the University of Northwestern, St. Paul, MN. Norman works alongside organizations involved in human (youth) trafficking, youth experiencing homelessness and addictions. He also lectures in the US and the UK on topics related to Tibet and his Ph.D.
