Bharatiya Grameen Mahila Sangh Shelter in Bangalore
The Bharatiya Grameen Mahila Sangh shelter in Bangalore, Karnataka, has been a beacon of hope for 250 children who call it home. Located in a community that faces significant challenges, the shelter provides not only a safe space but also a caring environment for children, many of whom are battling malnutrition.

Bringing Life Home has been actively involved in supporting the shelter, especially through their ongoing efforts to provide essential nutrition. During the challenging times of the Covid-19 pandemic, Bringing Life Home stepped in to donate vital cooking ingredients, ensuring that the children received three nutritious meals every day. This commitment continued throughout the pandemic and was crucial in helping these children overcome the added threat of malnutrition during a time when food security was more uncertain than ever.

Now, even in 2025, the support continues with quarterly donations that sustain the provision of meals to the children. These efforts have made a significant impact, ensuring that the children are well-nourished and supported, giving them the strength they need to grow, learn, and thrive despite the hardships they may face.

This ongoing partnership underscores the importance of long-term commitment and community support, and the work being done at the Bharatiya Grameen Mahila Sangh shelter continues to provide essential care, nourishment, and hope to children in need. With continued donations and support, the children here are given the opportunity for a brighter, healthier future.
